Faith Meets Mental Health Summit

Frazer is hosting its 5th annual mental health summit, Faith Meets Mental Health, on April 25 from 9 AM to 3 PM in The Gathering Place. Our keynote speaker this year is Jason Greene, U.S. Army SSG (RET), pastor, and educator.

.6 CEUs (6 contact hours) will be offered through Auburn University after attending the Saturday, April 25, summit, which meets the standard criterion providing professionals’ credit to all that attend. Please indicate on the registration form if you want CEU credits.

Our April 25 speakers include:

Jeff Hand: director of Fisher's Farm in Montgomery - a residential discipleship home that serves men who are struggling with various addictions including drugs and alcohol.

Steve Wages: director, Cloverdale Center for Youth and Family, and Professor of Family Studies for the VP Black College of Biblical Studies at Faulkner University.

Stephen Streett: executive pastor at Frazer Church. With 34 years of pastoral leadership experience in church planting and church revitalization, Stephen has served as a youth minister, associate minister, senior pastor, and church planter.

Jason Greene: US Army SSG (RET), pastor, JROTC educator at Lawrence County High School

Kim Boswell: Alabama’s commissioner of mental health, and who has more than 37 years of experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities.
