Frazer Preschool is a half-day program for children age six months to 5-Year-old Kindergarten.
Registration for next school year will begin January 9, 2023, for in-house students and Frazer members. Open registration will begin Jan 23, 2023.
Our program is a half-day program that begins in mid August and continues through mid May. We accept children 6 months through K5. Please call the preschool office for additional information 334-495-6370.
Forms may be picked up in the office, or you may request them by email at preschool@frazer.church.
Preschool Offices are located downstairs in the Children's Wing of the Frazer Campus (map). Enter on Burbank Drive and park on the west side, enter through the large glass Atrium doors, and proceed to the Yellow Hallway located behind the red Children's Ministry Tugboat.
Children who have reached six months through two years of age on or before September 2 are welcomed to participate in our Mother's Morning Out Program. Your little one will be loved on, read to, play with classmates, enjoy snacks and lunch and ride in the” bye-bye buggy on" field trips around the church.
Our 2-year old Mother's Morning Out Program is designed for not only social interaction but also an introduction to a school setting. Each week the children are exposed to a different topic such as farm animals, letters, numbers, and fire safety, just to name a few. They work on potty-training, have snack, eat lunch, and ride bikes and swing during free-time on the playground every school day.
Those who are 3 years old by Sept. 2, and fully potty trained enter into the exciting world of preschool. Our days are filled with art activities, hands-on-learning, play centers, stories and fun with music and field trips. We also have daily curriculum-based educational activities that teach letter identification and sound and number identification with introductory math. Teachers help sharpen find motor skills, begin an introduction to handwriting, strengthen social skills, and share the love of Jesus through Bible stories, songs and activities.
Shapes, pets, fairy tales, Indians, dentists, birds, plants, farms, presidents and field trips ... and don't forget, letters, numbers, writing and drawings! Those are just a few of the topics our four-year-old's cover during their school year. 4-year old preschool is such a wonderful time as our sweet friends also learn about Jesus and how to share His love with others. All instruction is curriculum-based off of Abeka Curriculum, but of course our teachers add their own creativity and instruction to each and every lesson.
If you are looking for a loving, godly program to help prepare your child for mainstream school then our Kindergarten Program is for you. Reading, writing, science, mathematics are all part of our daily learning activities as well as activities that focus on growing the social and independent skills necessary to transition into First Grade. Our kindergarten teachers fully engage their classes in hands-on activities, field-trips and experiments to help teach the total child. The kindergarten classes use the Abeka Curriculum for letters, numbers and writing.
