Frazer is pleased to announce that Dr. Neil Epler will take on the leadership of our Older Adult Ministry effective immediately.
Dr. Epler oversees the Congregational Care and Prayer ministry areas and is one of our ordained ministers.
“We see this as an opportunity to grow the relationships Neil has already built,” explained Senior Pastor Chris Montgomery. “He preaches at our Heritage worship service every Sunday night to many older adults and has led a Bible study on Wednesday that many in this age group participate in.
"In his work with congregational care, he visits our assisted living homes, cares for the sick, and walks with families through times of grief, many of whom are older adults. He is also an accomplished musician, and singing has always been a vital part of this ministry area, so he is well equipped for this role. We appreciate his willingness to serve as he volunteered to take on this responsibility.”
Pastor Neil says he is honored to continue the ministry pioneered by the late Martha John Allison and her many volunteers.
“I’m excited to continue the legacy of warmth, fellowship, and family that our Older Adult ministry has been known for,” he said. “My desire is to see us continue to pursue making disciples of Jesus Christ and serving His kingdom in every season of life.”
